Senior Web/Internet Developer

Position Summary

The Senior Web/Internet Developer will provide senior technical leadership for BATS web and cloud application development. The position will help define requirements, establish application architecture, evaluate cloud services, and coordinate full-stack implementation across development, infrastructure, security, and product teams.

Primary Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business users, the Product Owner, and stakeholders to refine requirements and the Product Backlog.
• Develop and review application and cloud-architecture designs.
• Lead technical implementation across front-end, back-end, API, cloud, and integration components.
• Develop and maintain web applications using .NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AWS technologies.
• Evaluate AWS and platform services for suitability, scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Review code, troubleshoot complex defects, and establish development standards.
• Coordinate with developers, testers, data engineers, infrastructure personnel, and UI/UX designers.
• Support CI/CD, containerization, OpenShift deployment, monitoring, and production readiness.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology is optional.
• Minimum six years of relevant web-application development experience.

Required certifications

• AWS Solutions Architect
• CompTIA Security+

Preferred

Strong experience developing and deploying applications in AWS environments.
