Senior Quant Trader - Tier-1 Global Crypto Exchange (Hong Kong)

Job Description

Our client is a tier-one global cryptocurrency exchange known for industry-leading liquidity, deep digital asset coverage, and high-volume trading infrastructure serving tens of millions of users worldwide.

To scale the next phase of their systematic trading business, they are hiring a Senior Quant Trader to own and run a profitable book across delta-one instruments — spot, perpetuals, and futures — spanning high-frequency liquidity strategies through to mid-frequency statistical arbitrage and cross-sectional alpha.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲

• 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲: Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Statistics, or Engineering.
• 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗣𝗻𝗟 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱: History of deploying and managing profitable systematic strategies, HFT/liquidity provision, mid-frequency stat arb, CTA/trend, or cross-sectional alpha — with the temperament to own a live book.
• 𝗠𝗟 & 𝗔𝗜-𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵: Deep learning applied to financial time series (PyTorch/TensorFlow/JAX), plus hands-on use of AI agents and LLM tooling to compress the research loop.
• 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗼𝗿 & 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲: Sharp command of overfitting, look-ahead bias, and regime shifts, across order book modelling for HFT and factor construction for cross-sectional work.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗜𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗬𝗼𝘂

• 𝗙𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗢𝘄𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽: Own a meaningful book end to end, with direct PnL impact and real authority over risk and capital allocation.
• 𝗘𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 & 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲: Rich proprietary datasets, premium market data feeds, and high-performance research and execution infrastructure.
• 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗻, 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵-𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺: A flat, senior environment where your signals go live fast and your decisions genuinely move the book.
• 𝗧𝗼𝗽-𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Strong base, performance-linked bonuses, and meaningful crypto upside.
