Design and build the user-facing layer of the automation platform
Build a configuration editor for defining, validating, and managing configuration variables across multi-stage design flows
Build a flow designer for creating, editing, and versioning automation flows/pipelines
Build a job launcher and monitor for real-time job submission, status tracking, logs, and historical run visibility
Build a QoR/analytics dashboard for quality-of-results metrics with user-configurable views and trend tracking
Ensure cross-platform delivery: Linux desktop application, web UI, and architecture that does not preclude mobile later

3+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on UI/UX for technical or scientific tools
Experience building or working closely with tools in the Jenkins/Airflow/CI-orchestration/monitoring-dashboard space
Strong product sense: ability to take a technically complex domain and design an interface that removes friction
Comfort owning the frontend architecture across desktop (Linux) and web, with the flexibility to propose the stack
Self-directed and comfortable working closely and communicatively with a distributed team on a daily basis

Prior exposure to semiconductor design flows, EDA tooling, or other highly technical engineering workflows
Experience with Electron, Tauri, Qt, or similar cross-platform desktop frameworks
Experience with React Native, Flutter, or native Android/iOS development
Experience designing software intended for eventual commercial licensing
Familiarity with real-time job/log streaming architectures (websockets, gRPC streaming, etc.)
Experience building or customizing dashboarding/observability platforms (Grafana, Superset, Metabase, or similar)
Comfort working with time-series or metrics data stores (e.g., InfluxDB, Prometheus, TimescaleDB)
