Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Administration of Cisco Catalyst network switches
  • Expert management of Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls
  • Manage routing protocols, failover capabilities, and traffic paths
  • Maintain dynamic routing environments, including OSPF and BGP configurations
  • Maintenance of the Cisco Catalyst switch fabric
  • Administer VLAN configurations
  • Maintain QoS policies
  • Manage Wi-Fi infrastructure
  • Administer secure IoT network segments using isolated VLANs and micro-segmentation
  • Monitor IoT telemetry data
  • Respond to network alerts from centralized IoT monitoring tools
  • Document all production changes prior to implementation
  • Obtain explicit IT Manager approval before modifying the production environment
  • Perform duties remotely
  • Collaborate seamlessly with IT staff
