Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Application Engineer to support and maintain critical systems and customer environments. This role is responsible for remote technical support, system troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, communicates effectively across teams, and brings deep technical expertise in IT operations and application support.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Perform remote customer support including system design, installation, repair, testing, and maintenance of technical products
• Troubleshoot complex issues across applications, infrastructure, and third-party systems to drive resolution
• Serve as a liaison between customers, internal teams, and third-party vendors
• Provide guidance and training to customers on system operation and proprietary software
• Support and monitor environments including servers, firewalls, routers, Active Directory, and cloud platforms
• Assist with application support, including .NET-based systems
• Communicate customer feedback to engineering and product teams to support continuous improvement
• Maintain system reliability, performance, and security across environments

Required Experience/Skills

• Minimum 6 years of experience in IT Operations or DevOps
• Strong experience supporting .NET applications
• Solid networking knowledge including DNS, TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, and security principles
• Experience troubleshooting across infrastructure, applications, and network layers
• Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors

Nice-to-Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Networking, Systems, or Cloud-related certification (e.g., CompTIA Network+, AWS, Azure, CCNA)

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.

Pay & Benefits Summary

• $60–$65/hr. W2
