Job Overview

Seeking for a Java Developer to provide advanced analysis, design, development, enhancements, implementation, and support for complex software systems. You will act as a subject matter expert for Oracle Commerce Cloud and related subsystems, supporting various platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop within Oracle systems for various platforms, either individually or as part of a team.
• Analyze existing code, plan, design, develop, and debug solutions.
• Conduct testing and document work within the agency's change management system.
• Research and evaluate new products for integration, ensuring effective communication with diverse technical teams.
• Conduct peer reviews and adhere to Change Management guidelines.
• Estimate effort levels for service requests and enhancements, document, and present them for prioritization.
• Support nonproduction environments for testing and maintain clean environments.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for owned and integrated systems.
• Evaluate and advise on changes to application software and technical solutions.
• Provide status reports on individual and project performance.
• Assist in software product assessments and recommendations.
• Investigate and debug problems and defects in supported systems.
• Perform maintenance activities, often outside regular hours.
• Monitor system performance and implement solutions for operational deficiencies.
• Ensure security and quality assurance measures in cooperation with other IT staff.
• Adhere to established standards, policies, and procedures for testing, security, and development.
• Document design decisions, requirements, and estimations with IT staff and business end users.
