Description

The IT Manager leads the strategy, deployment, maintenance, and security of all hotel technology infrastructure, ensuring seamless operational systems, high data protection standards, and robust network environments, including full IT architecture setup during the pre-opening phase.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pre-Opening Technology Deployment: Oversee the installation, configuration, testing, and integration of core hotel systems (PMS, POS, RMS, Keycards, Guest Wi-Fi, PABX, IPTV, Network Infrastructure, and Cyber Security) prior to launch.
  • Systems Maintenance & Support: Ensure 24/7 stability, performance, and uptime across all hardware, software, server environments, and hotel networks.
  • Data Security & Compliance: Implement cybersecurity protocols, access controls, data backup frameworks, and disaster recovery plans in compliance with corporate standards and local data protection regulations.
  • Vendor & Budget Management: Manage IT vendor SLAs, software licensing, tech procurement contracts, and departmental operating and capital expenditure (CapEx) budgets.
  • User Support & Training: Provide technical troubleshooting, manage helpdesk operations for hotel staff, and deliver user training on core system usage and cybersecurity awareness.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Experience: 3–5 years of IT leadership experience within a luxury hotel, with direct experience in pre-opening system implementations preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Network Engineering.
  • Technical Skills: Mastery of hospitality core systems (e.g., Opera PMS, Simphony POS, Cisco networking, Microsoft Server Environments, Firewall Management, and IPTV systems).
  • Competencies: Strong technical problem-solving, project management, communication skills, and fluent business English.
