We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Privileged Access Management (PAM) Specialist with extensive experience in CyberArk to join our team. This role is for one of our major clients in the financial sector, offering a dynamic and challenging environment where security is paramount.
As a PAM Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing CyberArk solutions to protect sensitive data and privileged accounts. Your expertise will play a critical role in strengthening the client’s information security operations and mitigating risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, implement, and troubleshoot CyberArk components including PVWA, CPM, PSM, PSMP, AAM, EPV, and PTA.
- Design and implement CyberArk solutions tailored to business and security needs.
- Ensure the security and integrity of privileged accounts within a complex, high-stakes financial environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PAM solutions into existing security frameworks.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend enhancements to improve security posture.
- Provide technical expertise and support in areas such as workstation and server security, OS security (Windows, Linux, Unix), and network security.
- Facilitate project management tasks related to PAM implementation and upgrades.
- Maintain compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum 4+ years of professional experience in information security, with at least 2+ years in PAM and CyberArk.
- Strong expertise in CyberArk administration and associated tools.
- Deep understanding of security concepts, including operating systems, network security, cryptography, and perimeter defense.
- Proactive, self-starting, and highly organized with the ability to think long-term.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of project management fundamentals.
- Certifications such as CISSP or CISM are a strong plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical details into business language.
- Experience working in a regulated industry, preferably finance.
