Job Openings Database Developer

Design, develop, and maintain database structures, including tables, relationships, and data models.
Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, scripts, stored procedures, and views to ensure database performance and efficiency.
Support data aggregation processes for MFRS 17 and ITSR, ensuring alignment across systems.
Develop and enhance reporting solutions using SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services).
Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes by extracting data from multiple sources, transforming it into the required format, and loading it into databases or data warehouses.
Assist in data mapping and ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems.
Design and set up new databases to support reporting and business requirements.
Develop scripts for report generation and file processing to support ITSR and MFRS 17 reporting needs.
Perform debugging and troubleshooting of SQL code, stored procedures, and database-related issues using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
Conduct end-to-end testing for databases, scripts, and reporting solutions.
Collaborate with architecture, project, and business teams on technical design, documentation, and implementation.
Support data replication processes (e.g. PMACS to EDS) to meet MFRS 17 requirements.

Minimum 3 years of experience in database development or a related role.
Strong proficiency in SQL (Structured Query Language), including querying, optimization, and performance tuning.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including SSMS, SSIS, and SSRS.
Experience in database design and data modeling, including defining tables, relationships, and data structures.
Solid understanding of ETL processes and experience handling data from multiple sources.
Experience in debugging and optimizing stored procedures, queries, and database performance issues.
Familiarity with data replication and data integration processes.
Experience supporting financial or insurance systems (e.g. MFRS 17, ITSR) is an added advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Good communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
