AVP Java Developer (Prime Financing / Equities)

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer (AVP level) to join our strategic infrastructure build‑out within Liquid Financing. This role is part of a global initiative supporting the APAC SBL/Financing platform, with high visibility and direct interaction with traders and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java Spring Boot (backend) and Angular/React (frontend).
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and automation.
• Collaborate with global teams across APAC, NY, London, and India to deliver scalable solutions.
• Partner closely with traders and product stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and alignment with strategic infrastructure goals.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of software development experience in financial services.
• Strong expertise in Java Spring Boot and Angular (React experience also considered).
• Familiarity with Python and CI/CD tools.
• Solid understanding of Prime Brokerage, Equities, and/or FICC products.
• Excellent communication skills with proven ability to work in forward‑facing roles.
• Experience in global, cross‑functional teams preferred.
