- Develop, review and approve overall project baseline schedules, weekly/monthly rolling schedules and milestone plans for offshore EPC projects.
- Track daily/weekly project progress, monitor critical path activities, identify schedule risks, and propose corrective and preventive measures.
- Prepare regular progress reports, schedule analysis reports and project forecast reports for internal management and client review.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, site and subcontractor teams to ensure all work packages are executed in accordance with the approved schedule.
- Manage schedule changes, assess the impact of design changes, site variations and resource adjustments on project timeline, and update schedule baseline accordingly.
- Standardize project planning management procedures and continuously optimize the planning system for fast-track offshore project delivery.
- Professional Experience: Minimum 10 years of solid working experience in EPC project planning and scheduling within the offshore/marine engineering industry, with no less than 2 years of independent working experience as a Planning Manager.
- Project Background: Must have hands-on planning experience in fast-track production-focused offshore projects or wellhead platform projects, familiar with the full-cycle schedule management of offshore fabrication, integration and delivery.
- Schedule Management Capability: Responsible for establishing project baseline schedules, executing rolling planning, analyzing schedule deviation, identifying critical paths, and providing feasible progress optimization solutions to ensure projects are delivered on time.
- EPC Process Proficiency: Familiar with complete offshore EPC workflows including engineering design, procurement, fabrication, offshore installation and commissioning; able to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to control overall project progress.
- Tool Proficiency: Proficient in commonly used planning tools such as Primavera P6 / MS Project, skilled in progress data sorting, report compilation and regular progress presentation.
- Communication & Coordination: Good cross-department and client communication ability, capable of aligning schedule targets with internal teams, clients and subcontractors, and efficiently resolving schedule conflicts.
- Language: Native or fluent English speaker (expat candidate).
