Full Stack Java Developer

Job Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Full Stack Java Developer for a remote position with a Global Financial Institution in Plano, TX, Pennington, NJ and Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

As a Full Stack Java Developer, you will act to automate both infrastructure and software delivery. You will provide software services for server delivery teams and software developers, working with enterprise groups to provide low-touch capabilities across a wide domain. This role involves working with DevOps platforms, tools, and middleware systems.

Responsibilities

Design and develop applications and services in an Agile, Scrum, and Lean environment

Automate both infrastructure and software delivery

Provide software services for server delivery teams and software developers

Work with enterprise groups to provide low-touch capabilities

Engage with DevOps platforms and tools as well as middleware systems

Requirements

10+ years of industry experience in design and development of applications and services

Excellent development skills in Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, Angular, Oracle, and MSSQL (Full stack)

Experience with DevOps, Linux OS, Cloud platforms, and Middleware (Tomcat or JBoss)

Strong knowledge of design patterns and best practices in web services, full stack system architecture, and system integration

Experience with orchestration technologies, GIT, and CI/CD pipelines

Good understanding of object-oriented principles, system design, data structures, and algorithms

Experience in the full system implementation lifecycle (analysis, design, build, test, implement, and support)

Experience with IDEs like VS Code or Eclipse

Desired skills

Degree in Computer Science or related field

Knowledge and/or experience with DevOps and CI/CD Integration

Knowledge of Kubernetes or equivalent container orchestration systems

Experience with delivering Infrastructure as Code using Terraform

Open and clear communication

Pay range

$58.31 - $66.31 per hour
