Build strong security foundations to advance HubSpot’s security posture
Drive the development and improvement of secure software systems
Partner with engineering and security teams to implement practical security solutions
Guide architectural decisions and establish best practices across the organization
Translate organizational priorities into tangible, secure engineering outcomes
Contribute code, review designs, and provide technical mentorship to engineers
Act as a key point of contact for security expertise within the organization
Ensure products meet internal guardrails and external customer trust and security needs
Collaborate with product managers and legal/compliance partners on secure SDLC
Shape the approach to securing AI initiatives and AI/ML workflows

10+ years of experience in software development and information security
Expertise in identity, access, and applied cryptography
Experience designing identity infrastructure in a cloud-native environment
Expert knowledge of secure development, public cloud security, and network security
Practical implementation experience with Zero Trust principles
Experience leading large-scale migrations of critical systems or data
Experience securing AI/ML workflows, training data, models, and agents
Proficiency with AI development tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT
Understanding of SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, and GDPR standards
Relevant industry certification such as CISSP, CEH, Azure Cybersecurity Architect, or AWS Speciality
