  • Own the ongoing maintenance, enhancement, and operational reliability of the data platform.
  • Build data products to drive the self-service data culture in the company and champions use of new tools (AI/BI) to make the delivery of insights faster.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators and develop Machine learning models to build
  • Process and analyze large data sets to identify opportunities for improving operational efficiency, customer acquisition, cross-selling, upselling, retention, and maximizing customer value.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, agency, partnership, and finance, to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
  • Perform ad-hoc data analysis to support various business initiatives and projects.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the global data team, market stakeholders, and the market IT team for data ingestion and data quality initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, data science, or a similar role; experience in the life insurance industry is a plus.
  • Proven experience in data engineering or data platform engineering.
  • Strong understanding of data pipelines, data wrangling, data transformation, and ETL processes.
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages, such as SQL and Python.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
