Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications
  • Translate product requirements into code
  • Collaborate to ship features end-to-end
  • Own major components or services
  • Implement frontend architectures and backend services
  • Manage data modeling, migrations, and database optimization
  • Implement CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, and incident response
  • Write technical documentation
  • Mentor junior engineers

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional full-stack development experience
  • Proficiency in a modern frontend framework (React, Vue, Angular, Svelte)
  • Back-end experience with Node.js, Python, Java, Go, or Ruby
  • Experience building robust APIs
  • Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis)
  • Knowledge of API design, authentication/authorization, and security best practices
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Experience with containerization (Docker)
  • Experience with orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is a plus

Preferred

  • Experience with microservices architecture
  • Experience with serverless designs
  • Expertise in performance profiling
  • Expertise in latency optimization
  • Expertise in scaling strategies
  • Experience with analytics
  • Experience with data engineering
  • Experience with ML/AI integrations
  • Familiarity with test automation (unit/integration/e2e)
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks
  • Contributions to open-source projects
  • Previous startup experience
