Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for the digital experience team
- Direct the design, development, integration, and sustainment of enterprise web platforms
- Oversee Agile sprint execution, release planning, CI/CD pipeline operations, and enterprise code quality practices
- Establish technical standards and review, approve, and guide solution architecture
- Partner with product owners and stakeholders to translate mission needs into requirements
- Coordinate with UX/UI, analytics, and content teams
- Identify and implement process improvements, including the adoption of AI assisted tools
- Ensure development of technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge sharing materials
- Monitor platform performance, security considerations, and industry trends
Requirements
- US Citizen
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain a government clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field
- Minimum 3 years leading a technical, development, or digital experience team
- At least 8 years of experience in senior-level web or application development roles
- Proficiency in enterprise web development technologies, including ASP.NET, C#, HTML/HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, XML
- Experience with CMS platforms, digital content workflows, analytics, and structured data implementation
- Proven experience with Drupal development and architecture
- Experience with API integrations, JSON/XML, DNS
- Ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-platform technical issues
- Strong communication, leadership, and team coordination skills
- Experience working within Agile and DevOps environments
Preferred
- Experience implementing or supporting federal digital service frameworks (USWDS, 508 compliance, etc.)
- Experience applying AI assisted development tools or automation techniques in enterprise environments
- Experience leading modernization initiatives or platform consolidation efforts
- Prior experience in federal, defense, or public sector digital teams
- Strong background guiding UX/UI delivery in alignment with user-centered design practices
- Experience contributing to or managing governance processes for enterprise digital platforms
- Familiarity with cloud environments, DevSecOps practices, or enterprise security considerations
