Ready to shape the future of accounting software used by thousands of SMEs?
For Clearfacts we are looking for an experienced client-facing Senior Product Manager / Product Owner to join our ambitious team in Berchem!
About Wolters Kluwer & Clearfacts
Wolters Kluwer is a global leader in professional information, software solutions, and services. Within our Tax & Accounting division, Clearfacts stands out as a fast-growing SaaS platform transforming the accounting landscape in the Benelux.
Clearfacts is a leading pre-accounting platform, already supporting more than 1,000 accountants and over 200,000 SMEs. We bring the efficiency and innovation of modern SaaS into a traditionally complex domain, combining a start-up mindset with the stability and resources of a global organization.
You will join a dynamic product team with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, short feedback loops, and direct access to customers, where ideas quickly turn into real product impact.
About the Role
As a Senior Product Manager/Owner at Clearfacts, you will take full ownership of a functional scope of our platform, including SME-facing functionality, our mobile app, and a brand-new financial accounting module.
You will operate at the heart of product development, bridging customer needs, business goals, and technical execution, while working closely with a dedicated development team and a wide range of stakeholders.
This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role where your ideas can go live in production within months and directly shape the experience of thousands of users.
What You Will Do
- Define and maintain your product roadmap, aligned with the broader product and business strategy
- Engage directly with customers through interviews, workshops, and feedback sessions to uncover needs and validate solutions
- Translate complex accounting processes into simple, intuitive user experiences
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, balancing new features with continuous improvements
- Design features and write clear functional specifications for developers
- Work closely with your development team in an Agile (Scrum) environment to deliver high-quality releases
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Customer Success, Support, Marketing) to ensure successful product adoption
- Define KPIs and monitor post-launch performance, using data and feedback to drive improvements
- Coordinate go-live strategies and ensure successful releases
- Contribute to the long-term product vision and strategic planning
What Makes You a Great Fit
- You have 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner (or similar role) in a B2B SaaS environment
- You are experienced in Agile/Scrum methodologies and know how to drive delivery in iterative cycles
- You excel at understanding customer problems and translating them into structured solutions
- You are a proactive communicator, comfortable interacting with both technical and business stakeholders
- You take ownership and actively seek feedback, both internally and from customers
- You can simplify complex concepts into user-friendly solutions, ideally within complex domains
- You have a strong UX mindset, focusing on usability, clarity, and consistency
- You are data-driven and use insights to guide product decisions
- You are motivated to learn (or already experienced in) the accounting/fintech domain
- You are fluent in English, as well as in Dutch/French for client interaction
Why This Role Stands Out
- High autonomy & real impact: You own your scope and directly influence the product roadmap and user experience
- Innovation in a traditional sector: Help modernize accounting with cutting-edge SaaS solutions
- Start-up vibe, corporate strength: Fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment backed by Wolters Kluwer
- Direct customer feedback loops: Weekly interactions with users to validate ideas and improve outcomes
What We Offer
- A full-time, permanent position
- A hybrid working model with 2 days per week on-site (Berchem)
- A collaborative setup within a product team of experienced Product Owners and developers
- The opportunity to work on high-impact, innovative SaaS products
- Continuous learning and growth opportunities, including domain expertise in fintech and product leadership
- A role with clear ownership, visibility, and career progression potential
