Take end-to-end ownership of critical engineering initiatives
Champion safe and scalable environment provisioning
Set standards for sizing, building, deploying, managing, and monitoring infrastructure
Manage infrastructure as code using automation technologies
Collaborate with managers, architects, vendors, and stakeholders
Advise junior engineers, managers, and less senior positions
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior cloud engineers

Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in computer science, engineering, or information systems
Seven (7+) years’ work experience in cloud engineering or related field
Strong experience providing leadership in a general planning or consulting setting
Strong experience as a leader or a senior member of multi-function project teams
Terraform
Yaml configurations
Shell scripting
Public cloud experience preferably GCP
GCP or other major cloud platform experience
Confluent Cloud administration
Demonstrable understanding of the 7 layers of the OSI Network Mode
Conversant in system administration skills
Experience with one or more programming languages
Automation and scripting in Powershell and Bash
DevOps and CICD pipelines – github actions
Kubernetes experience either with GKE/AKS or managing your own Kubernetes cluster
Experience in alert management and root cause analysis
Experience with monitoring stack (Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana)
Experience in completing difficult projects
Experience with Java or Python
Experience with data analytical infrastructure - Dataflow, GCS, BigQuery
Experience with AI – GCP AI Foundation, Vertex AI
