Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of an established Ruby on Rails web platform
  • Build understanding of platform architecture, data, integrations, and production behavior
  • Ship enhancements, fixes, dependency updates, tests, and releases
  • Identify and prioritize improvements to SEO, performance, usability, and reliability
  • Turn customer and business needs into practical product changes
  • Contribute to Python and React based products
  • Use AI-assisted development tools to implement changes and debug issues
  • Make independent product and technical decisions

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience building and maintaining production web applications
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails or ability to ramp up quickly
  • Ability to read and contribute to Python and React codebases
  • Experience working across frontend, backend, and relational databases
  • Experience with Postgres
  • Ability to make progress without fully defined requirements
  • Experience reviewing, testing, and validating work including AI-assisted code

Preferred

  • Experience with technical SEO, structured data, or web performance
  • Experience taking ownership of a product or codebase
  • Experience with monitoring, observability, and dependency upgrades
  • Experience with enterprise SaaS or healthcare technology
