About the job Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Novena)

lLooking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support the management, optimisation, and resilience of enterprise cloud infrastructure and platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support cloud infrastructure, system performance, and infrastructure operations.
• Monitor system health using observability tools, including logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting.
• Implement infrastructure automation and DevOps best practices to improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with application teams to ensure reliable, secure, and resilient cloud environments.
• Lead infrastructure projects and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Drive business continuity initiatives, including disaster recovery, failover testing, and service availability planning.
• Manage vendor performance, service levels, and compliance with contractual requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure management, preferably in cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Cloud certifications (AWS or Azure) are advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps, infrastructure automation, observability, and resiliency principles.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Duration/Working Hours

1 year contract (Oct 2026 to Sep 2027)

• Monday to Thursday: 8.30am – 6.00pm (1-hour lunch break)
• Friday: 8.30am – 5.30pm (1-hour lunch break)
• No work on Saturdays, Sundays, or gazetted public holiday
