Design, develop, and maintain full stack web applications
Build responsive, accessible front-end interfaces
Develop robust backend services and APIs
Integrate applications with databases, messaging systems, and external services
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Participate in code reviews
Support CI/CD pipeline integration, automated testing, and DevSecOps practices
Collaborate with UX designers, business analysts, and government stakeholders
Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and performance issues
Ensure all applications comply with Section 508 accessibility standards and federal security requirements

8+ years of full stack development experience in production environments
Proficiency in at least one front-end framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js)
Proficiency in at least one back-end language/framework (Java/Spring, Python/Django or Flask, Node.js)
Strong experience with relational databases and SQL
Experience with RESTful API design and development
Familiarity with containerization (Docker)
Familiarity with cloud deployment practices
Strong understanding of web security principles
Excellent collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional Agile teams
Experience in a federal government IT environment
Section 508 / WCAG accessibility development experience
Agile, SAFe, or DevSecOps methodology experience
Experience with microservices architecture
Experience with event-driven systems
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; 5 additional years of relevant experience accepted in lieu of degree

familiarity with NoSQL a plus
Relevant certifications (AWS Developer, Azure Developer Associate, or equivalent)
