Java Angular Developer

The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. OVA.Work is seeking an experienced Java Angular Developer to build and maintain scalable enterprise web applications. The role focuses on Java and Spring Boot backend development, Angular frontend development, RESTful APIs, microservices, application security, testing, troubleshooting, and collaboration with cross-functional Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using Java and Angular
• Develop scalable RESTful APIs using Spring Boot
• Build responsive and dynamic user interfaces using Angular
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services and third-party APIs
• Develop reusable UI components and services
• Optimize application performance and scalability
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Perform unit testing and participate in code reviews
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and production issues
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and product teams
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
• Ensure application security and compliance with coding standards

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in Full Stack Java development
• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8/11/17)
• Experience with Spring Boot and Spring MVC
• Strong experience with Angular (Angular 8+ preferred)
• Experience developing RESTful APIs
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and JavaScript
• Experience with relational databases
• Experience with Git and version control
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong attention to detail
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies
• Experience with Microservices architecture
• Knowledge of Spring Security and OAuth2/JWT
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Knowledge of Redis or other caching technologies
• Experience with GraphQL is a plus
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience developing enterprise-scale web applications
• Experience working with distributed systems and microservices
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security
• Experience integrating third-party APIs
• Familiarity with Agile development and DevOps practices
• Experience optimizing application performance and scalability
• Cypress (Preferred)
• MongoDB (Preferred)
• GraphQL (Preferred)
