- Install, modify and maintain test beds, fixtures and lab equipment used for multi-computer, network-based testing.
- Collaborate with product development on test focus and issue evaluation.
- Manage multiple projects efficiently and effectively.
- Use AI tools to accelerate test case drafting, log triage, test automation and script generation.
Who You Are and What You Bring
- 2-year degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
- 0-1 years of experience in a quality assurance role.
- Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Python, Java, C.
- Familiarity with Linux-based systems.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for defect reports, test documentation and cross-team collaboration.
Desired But Not Required
- Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, Wi-Fi, cellular or SNMP.
- Exposure to test automation frameworks (pytest, etc.)
- Basic understanding of virtual environments, including configuring and managing VMs.
- Experience with defect and test management tools (TestRail, Jira, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with embedded or connected hardware, serial consoles, routers, gateways or bench lab equipment.
- Experience working in an Agile or Scrum development process.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology or a related technical field.
