JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Senior AI Developer to help build the next generation of intelligent unstructured data management and intelligent document processing (IDP) solutions for our enterprise. You will have a voice throughout the full development lifecycle, from concept through deployment, of cloud-native systems that securely manage, process, and enable unstructured data at enterprise scale.

This is a strategic technical role that combines AI engineering, backend development, and enterprise data architecture. You will work with AWS (Bedrock, S3, compute), Snowflake, agentic AI frameworks (AgentCore, LangGraph, etc.), automation-to-automation (A2A) solutions, and workflow orchestration platforms to deliver transformative capabilities across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Develop AI-Enabled IDP Solutions

Build intelligent document processing pipelines that extract, classify, and enrich unstructured data using modern AI/ML approaches

Cloud Architecture & Implementation

Design and implement scalable, secure solutions leveraging AWS (S3, compute, networking), Snowflake data platforms, and related managed services

Agentic AI & Automation

Develop and integrate autonomous agents using frameworks like AgentCore and LangGraph to process and route enterprise data with minimal human intervention

Workflow Orchestration

Design and implement complex, production-grade workflows using orchestration frameworks; ensure reliability, auditability, and compliance

Backend & Service Development

Build synchronous and asynchronous services, APIs, and microservices that support document ingestion, processing, and downstream consumption

Data Governance & Security

Apply data management principles, such as cataloging, lineage, retention, data protection, with healthcare compliance (HIPAA) and security as a foundational requirement

Mentorship & Collaboration

Partner with data engineers, platform teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions; mentor junior engineers

Required Qualifications

5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years focused on AI/ML development or data engineering in production environments

Proficiency in backend/service development

Demonstrated expertise building scalable APIs, microservices, or event-driven systems

Cloud platform expertise

Hands-on experience with AWS (S3, EC2, or similar) and modern data warehouses (Snowflake or similar)

AI/ML development

Experience building, training, deploying, and operationalizing AI models; including working knowledge of LLMs, foundation models, prompt engineering, RAG architectures, and agentic frameworks.

Workflow orchestration

Proven experience with AWS Step Functions, Apache Airflow, Temporal, or equivalent orchestration tools in production

Data management fundamentals

Strong grasp of data modeling, pipeline architecture, quality assurance, and governance principles

Enterprise software practices

Comfortable with CI/CD, testing, code review, security best practices, and regulatory compliance (healthcare experience a strong plus)

Preferred Qualifications

Direct experience with intelligent document processing (IDP), OCR, ICR, NLP, or information extraction

Hands-on experience with agentic AI frameworks (AgentCore, LangGraph, or similar)

Experience with A2A (automation-to-automation) integration patterns

Experience with AWS Bedrock, Claude, or other managed foundation model services

Prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) for domain-specific applications

Healthcare industry background

Contributions to unstructured data and AI projects

Advanced degree (BS/MS) in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The preferred qualifications listed below reflect desired knowledge, skill, and/or experience.
