Position Overview
The Programmer Analyst role focuses on developing, testing, and maintaining customizations and integrations within the IFS ERP system. This position involves working with SQL Server, SSRS, PL/SQL, and .NET technologies to build reports, optimize databases, and support ERP enhancements. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience with IFS ERP, strong technical and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams in a fast-paced environment. The Programmer Analyst reports to the Director of IT Applications.

Who you’ll work with
- This role reports into the Director of IT Applications and has partnership across the broader IT and executive team.
What You’ll Do
- ERP Development & Customization
o Develop, test, and maintain scripts and integrations within the IFS ERP system.
o Design and build custom fields, events, and modules within IFS ERP.
o Integrate IFS ERP with third-party systems using APIs and middleware.
o Participate in system upgrades, patches, and regression testing.
- Database Development & Reporting
o Create and optimize database objects, including tables, views, and stored procedures.
o Write and code databases using PL/SQL and T-SQL.
o Build and maintain reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
o Create report schemas using Developer studio
o Design report layouts using Report designer
- System Support, Troubleshooting & Quality Assurance
o Troubleshoot existing systems and APIs, providing timely and effective resolutions.
o Respond to support ticket requests within established IT support timeframes.
o Perform user acceptance testing to ensure quality and functionality of ERP enhancements.
o Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of assigned projects.
o Manage competing priorities across multiple tasks.
- Collaboration, Documentation & Continuous Improvement
o Assist in documenting technical processes, user guides, and system architecture.
o Collaborate with internal teams to clarify requirements and deliver technical solutions.
o Stay current with trends in ERP development, .NET technologies, and database tools.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on application development experience in an IFS ERP required
- Strong ability to stay organized with high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team setting
Technical Skills
o Strong experience with SQL Server, SSRS, ASP.NET, and HTML
o Proficiency in PL/SQL and .NET Core development
o Solid understanding of the software development cycle (SDLC)
o Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills for ERP systems and API
The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position at the time of posting. Within the range, the compensation will be determined based on education/training, skill set, experience, and other organizational needs.

his position is fully remote, meaning you will perform your work from a home office or another approved location rather than a traditional company office. As a remote team member, you will be expected to maintain a reliable internet connection, a productive and distraction-free work environment, and consistent availability during established business hours. Regular communication and collaboration will take place through virtual tools (e.g., video conferencing, messaging platforms, and email), and you will be responsible for staying engaged, meeting deadlines, and participating in team meetings and company initiatives. While the role offers flexibility and eliminates commuting, it also requires a high level of self-motivation, organization, and accountability to be successful.
