Test Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities

-Design and develop automated test scripts using industry-standard testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, RobotFramework, Playwright, Appium)

-Execute manual and automated test cases to identify and report software defects

-Analyze test results and diagnose the root cause of issues

-Collaborate with developers to fix bugs and improve code quality

-Participate in code reviews for test automation scripts

-Stay up-to-date on the latest testing tools and methodologies (e.g., BDD, API testing)

-Contribute to the improvement of the test automation framework

Qualifications

-2+ years of experience as a Test Engineer or a related role

-Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (e.g., black-box testing, white-box testing)

-Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript)

-Proficiency in using automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Robot Framework, Playwright, Appium)

-Experience with API testing tools (a plus)

-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

-Strong communication and collaboration skills

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
