Responsibilities

  • Own upkeep and maintenance of data pipeline
  • Ingest and standardize member rosters and claims data
  • Make architectural decisions on database and Snowflake environment
  • Administer Snowflake as infrastructure
  • Support Snowflake as a service for teams
  • Oversee Git environment and permissions
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines with monitoring and alerting
  • Participate in support rotation
  • Support iterative definitional work with stakeholders
  • Lead projects and provide technical mentorship

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional data engineering experience
  • Healthcare industry experience with claims and membership data
  • Hands-on expertise with Dagster as primary orchestration tool
  • Expert-level proficiency in Python
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake
  • Snowflake administration experience
  • Strong SQL skills and data warehousing fundamentals
  • Git administration experience
  • Ability to lead and mentor other engineers

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • Salesforce development experience
  • Proficiency with VS Code or comparable tooling
  • Experience with AI coding assistants like Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot
