About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mendix Developer to join a development team in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Mendix Studio Pro and a proven track record of developing scalable, secure, and high-performing applications using the Mendix platform.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, testing, and maintaining Mendix applications while working closely with business stakeholders, architects, and other technical teams within an Agile Scrum environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Mendix.
• Work extensively with Mendix Studio Pro.
• Develop and maintain complex microflows and nanoflows.
• Design effective and scalable Mendix domain models.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly Mendix UI components.
• Design and implement integrations with external systems using:
• REST APIs
• SOAP web services
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into Mendix solutions.
• Ensure applications meet required standards for security, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and production issues.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement activities.
• Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, testers, and other developers.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Follow Mendix development best practices and platform standards.

Essential Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of overall IT experience.
• Strong hands-on experience as a Mendix Developer.
• Extensive experience with Mendix Studio Pro.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Microflows
• Nanoflows
• Domain modelling
• Mendix UI development
• Proven experience developing and maintaining enterprise Mendix applications.
• Hands-on experience with REST and SOAP integrations.
• Good understanding of:

• Performance optimization

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Fluent Dutch, both spoken and written – mandatory.
• Mendix Expert Certification – mandatory.
