Job Description

At KBTG, we build our own platforms as well as service external well-known clients like PTTEP, LINE, GRAB and so on with an Open Platform technology structure. We dedicate to build new financial service experiences which aim to satisfy users the most and be part of their daily life.

We are looking for an exceptional DATA ENGINEER who is passionate about data and insights of large data set. Strong business acumen with strategic thinking capability. Also, you will work closely with Data Scientist, Machine Engineer, Business Analysts and other stakeholders across the company.

Responsibilities

• Conduct meeting with users to understand the data requirements and perform database design based on data understanding and requirements with consideration for performance
• Work with business domain experts, data scientists and application developers to identify data that is relevant for analysis
• Maintain data dictionary, relationship and its interpretation
• Develop big data solutions for batch processing and near real-time streaming
• Own end-to-end data ETL/ELT process framework of Data Lake from Data Source to Data Mart and Data Exchange with peripheral systems, with process alignment to KBANK policies and implement ETL/ELT Process
• Select and integrate appropriate tools and frameworks required to provide requested capabilities
• Analyze problem and find resolution, as well as work closely with administrators to monitor performance and advise any necessary infrastructure changes
• Design and develop BI solutions
• Hands-on development mentality, with a willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems
• Keep abreast of new developments in the big data ecosystem and learn new technologies
• Ability to effectively work independently and handle multiple priorities

Qualifications

• Bachelors / Master degree in Computer Engineer, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
• 2-5 years of experience in database design, data integration, data pipeline development, big data, or business intelligence applications in a competitive service industry preferably in banking, financial services, or telecom
• Working knowledge of DB2, Hadoop, Data Virtualization, Qlikview/Qliksense is an advantage
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Thai
