Azure Cloud/Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking for a Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to join a leading global organization in Hong Kong on a short-term contract.

The role will support both cloud migration projects and day-to-day infrastructure operations, with a key focus on Microsoft Azure, infrastructure modernization and enterprise technology environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Azure cloud and platform migration projects, including Azure Landing Zone implementation and VM migration.
• Support cloud and on-premises infrastructure setup, provisioning and decommissioning.
• Perform infrastructure administration including patching, monitoring, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Support server migration, deployment and lifecycle management across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Assist with Hyper-V and virtualized infrastructure environments.
• Support infrastructure automation and configuration management.
• Assist with change, incident and problem management activities in line with established IT processes.
• Provide support for network-related infrastructure activities and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.
• Support infrastructure governance, documentation and operational procedures.
• Assist with new office setup, infrastructure deployment and office relocation activities when required.
• Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, network, security and application teams to ensure smooth project delivery and ongoing operations.

Requirements

• Around 5+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Engineering, DevOps or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and enterprise cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Azure Landing Zone, Azure migration or cloud infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
• Experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V and virtualized server environments.
• Experience with infrastructure automation / Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform, is an advantage.
• Familiarity with ITIL change, incident and problem management processes.
