Design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure applications on major cloud platforms
Build and modernize Java applications using Spring Boot, Hibernate, and related frameworks
Support and modernize legacy applications built on Struts 2 and J2EE
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
Implement best practices for cloud architecture, application security, and software development
Optimize cloud-hosted solutions for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation for deployment, monitoring, and environment management
Monitor and troubleshoot cloud and on-premise application environments
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to story refinement and sprint planning
Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, Java frameworks, and DevSecOps practices

U.S. Citizenship required
Active Secret Clearance required
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum of 8+ years experience developing Java applications
Minimum of 8+ years experience with Struts 2 and J2EE
Minimum of 7–10 years experience with Agile methodology
Minimum of 3–5 years experience with Java development
Minimum of 7–10 years experience with Spring Boot
Minimum of 3–5 years experience with Hibernate ORM or equivalent ORM frameworks
Experience with relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server
Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit
Familiarity with identity and access management, including SAML authentication
Ability to develop and complete user stories independently
Experience designing, deploying, and supporting applications in AWS, Azure, or similar cloud environments

Experience delivering solutions within large-scale federal IT programs
Familiarity with the SAFe Agile framework
Exposure to Login.gov integration
Experience supporting cloud migrations or cloud-enabled application modernization
Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD automation
