Responsibilities

  • Design and develop new Python code for analytics capabilities
  • Develop new reporting and analytics using healthcare data
  • Create business applications for clinical or analytic solutions
  • Drive enterprise modernization using Python and cloud-native technologies
  • Refactor legacy programming code
  • Communicate with key stakeholders
  • Define and deliver new technical capabilities
  • Expand, scale, and automate analyses
  • Mentor and knowledge share with peers
  • Monitor and maintain applications and production processes
  • Use analytics and technology to solve business needs

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with Python Data Engineering Stack
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL query development
  • Experience working in a data warehouse environment
  • Ability to work with large data sets from multiple data sources
  • Proficient in usage of Polars, NumPy, Pandas
  • Proficient with XML, JSON, YAML
  • Experience with AI prompting tools like Copilot and Claude
  • Proficient in the use of CI/CD pipelines and Git integration

Preferred

  • 5+ years in a technical analytics/reporting role
  • 3+ years of experience focusing on Python, SQL
  • Experience with callback architecture
  • Experience with Redis for application caching
  • Experience with PostgreSQL including complex query optimization
  • Expertise in Celery for distributed task queue management
  • Expertise in XlsxWriter for generating complex Excel reports
  • Experience with front-end development, e.g., REACT, HTML, CSS
  • Experience with cloud computing providers (GCP, Azure, AWS)
  • Experience with specialized Python data management libraries, e.g., DBT
  • Experience migrating on-premises capabilities to the cloud
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills
  • Strong ability to encourage teamwork
