Regional Senior Product Manager (Home Appliances)

Position Summary

As a Regional Product Manager for Home Appliances CoE, you will support the development of product and channel strategies across the Southeast Asia & Oceania (SEAO) region, leveraging market, consumer, channel, and business insights to drive business results.

You will work closely with regional and local teams to develop the right product mix and channel strategy, shape product specifications and product USPs, and drive effective new product launches across key channels.

The role will also involve engaging with senior stakeholders, sharing best practices across markets, and leading a team of Product Managers to deliver business priorities.

Role and Responsibilities

Market & Product Strategy

• Analyse SEAO market, consumer, channel, and business insights to identify opportunities and support product strategy development.
• Develop the appropriate product mix and channel strategy to achieve business objectives.
• Analyse company, competitor, and market dynamics to inform product specifications and positioning.
• Identify relevant consumer insights and translate them into compelling product USPs.

Product Launch & Channel Strategy

• Lead the development of holistic local product launch plans, including target setting across key go-to-market (GTM) elements.
• Develop initial channel distribution plans across B2B, Online, Offline, Distributors, Operators, and other relevant channels.
• Define and monitor execution KPIs, such as display share, to support effective launch execution.

Stakeholder & Market Engagement

• Partner closely with RHQ cross-functional teams and subsidiary teams to align priorities and deliver business objectives.
• Build effective relationships with senior stakeholders and external customers to influence business outcomes.
• Prepare and deliver relevant reports and presentations for regional management, subsidiary management, and working teams, adapting communication to different audiences.

Best Practice & Team Leadership

• Identify and synthesise best practices and key business drivers across markets, and support their adoption by subsidiaries.
• Lead and develop a team of 2-3 Product Managers, providing hands-on guidance where needed.
• Support team effectiveness, processes, and culture while ensuring delivery of business priorities.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the Home Appliances industry and market dynamics.
• Demonstrated years of people management experience, ideally within Product Management or a related commercial function.
• Strong Product Management experience, experience in Samsung’s local Product Management operations is an advantage.
• Strong structured thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to balance strategic and tactical priorities.
• Results-oriented, disciplined, and adaptable, with a strong execution focus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior leaders, peers, and team members.
• Demonstrated ability to make principle-based decisions with strong integrity.
• Ability to balance short-term business needs with longer-term strategic priorities.
