Job Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

In this role, the candidate will develop, enhance, debug, and support complex software applications for key business functions. This position involves participating in the full design and implementation lifecycle, providing technical direction for individual initiatives, and serving as a proficient technical resource on a variety of projects.

Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain and test software applications that support business units or supporting functions

Participate in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies

Provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives

Serve as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource

Lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations

Collaborate with external programmer to coordinate delivery of software application

Routine accountability for technical knowledge and capabilities

Work under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned consultants

Requirements

12 years' of experience

Kafka, Cloud, API Gateway

Strong programming/development skills in Angular Java, Oracle, PL/SQL, J2EE

Experience working with source control

Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems quickly and communicate proposed solutions

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience designing and executing test plans and performing gap analysis to ensure that business requirements and functional specifications are tested and fulfilled

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Pay range

$55.06 - $63.06 per hour
