BI Analytics Technical Lead

Role Description

The Information and Analytics Technical Lead must have a firm grasp of industry standard BI implementation methodologies, as well as in-depth experience with the Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS, SSRS and SSAS) version 2008 and above. They must have experience working in a technical leadership and support role as well as the following:

Technical Skills

• Expert in multidimensional data modeling concepts and design
• Business intelligence/data warehousing technology skills with proven expertise in Microsoft BI stack (SQL Server, SSAS, SSRS, Power BI, and TFS)
• In-depth knowledge of building complex multidimensional/tabular cubes and querying them using MDX/DAX (Microsoft SSAS)
• Experience in fine tuning the performance of SSAS cubes (tabular or multidimensional)
• Expert in design, development, and support of SSRS reporting platform
• Advanced experience with ETL/data integration methodologies and patterns (Microsoft SSIS)
• Experience with SAP BW development and maintenance
• Proficiency in Google Analytics; Google Analytics Certification preferred
• Proficiency in Successfactors reporting / Work Force Analytics
• Experience with Tableau reporting platform
• Good knowledge of Oracle and SQL database technologies
• Knowledge of Informatica and Dell Boomi ETL platform a plus

Other Requirements

• BA/BS degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or related field
• 8+ years of experience in architecting, designing, developing, supporting, and implementing BI solutions
• Excellent understanding of developer and support processes including SDLC, project management, change management, and architecture process.
• Knowledge of ITIL is desired

Manager Must Haves

• Proven experience with SAP BW data sources in Business Intelligence delivery
• Previous experience in Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing technology using Microsoft BI stack (SQL Server, SSAS, SSRS, Power BI, and TFS).
• Prior experience with SAP BW (especially SAP data sources) for information and analytics is REQUIRED

Manager Must Haves

• Proven experience with SAP BW data sources in Business Intelligence delivery
• Previous experience in Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing technology using Microsoft BI stack (SQL Server, SSAS, SSRS, Power BI, and TFS).
• Prior experience with SAP BW (especially SAP data sources) for information and analytics is REQUIRED
• 8+ years of experience in architecting, designing, developing, supporting, and implementing BI solutions
