Marathon Consulting, a Platinum Umbraco Partner is seeking a web developer with Umbraco expertise to serve our digital marketing clients throughout the greater Richmond metropolitan area. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience working with HTML/CSS and 4 years of experience developing and implementing content management systems (CMS).

Responsibilities
This is what you can expect to do in this role on a day-to-day basis and the key contributions you'll make as part of the team.
- Develop and implement high volume, complex marketing and e-commerce websites
- Develop user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/JQuery
- Implement and customize Umbraco content management systems (CMS). Additional CMS, such as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, and Ektron a plus
- Implement responsive designs using Bootstrap and other CSS Frameworks
Requirements
These are the essential skills, experience, and qualifications needed to successfully perform this role.
- BS/BA in Technology-related field preferred or relevant experience
- Umbraco Certified Master (preferred or working towards)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work with all levels of client staff and management
- Experience developing large, complex custom websites
- Provide solution guidance and web development for Umbraco website solutions in ASP.NET Core, MVC on an MS SQL Server backend
- Strong knowledge of current web design principles, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), responsive website development, and usability standards
- 4 years developing HTML layouts using advanced CSS techniques with a focus on web standards and usability
- 4 years’ experience developing websites and implementing content management systems (CMS) with programming languages such as ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, C#.NET, PHP, and VB.NET
