What You Will Bring

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving & mathematical skills.
  • A team player with excellent communication skills.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python development.
  • Proficiency in JAVA and SQL.
  • Experience with source control and build tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, Gradle, Git, and more.
  • Familiarity with security concepts, including authentication, authorization, and SSL.
  • Experience with AWS Services, including S3, Glue, and Lambdas, is a plus, or certification as an AWS Developer.
  • Solid Financial, Banking, Fixed Income, Asset Management, or Investment Industry experience.
  • Bachelors degree in finance, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop robust software solutions.
  • Utilize Python to build and maintain scalable applications.
  • Implement security measures and best practices to protect data and user information.
  • Integrate and work with AWS Services to enhance the platform's capabilities.
  • Ensure code quality and maintainability by using source control and build tools.
  • Participate in the analysis and optimization of existing systems and processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, recommending best practices and improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated expertise in Python, JAVA, and SQL.
  • Proven experience with source control and build tools (e.g., Bitbucket, Jenkins, Gradle, Git).
  • Knowledge of security concepts (authentication, authorization, SSL).
  • Experience with AWS Services (S3, Glue, Lambdas) or AWS Developer certification is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
