Support Manager (KDB/Q)– Front Office / Electronic Trading | Hong Kong

We are looking for a Support Manager (KDB/Q Developer / Engineer) to join a Front Office Technology team within a leading financial services firm in Hong Kong.

The role focuses on building and supporting KDB+ analytics solutions used across electronic trading, working closely with Algo Traders, Quant teams and Technology.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and maintain KDB+/Q-based analytics platforms
• Work with real-time and historical equities market data
• Build APIs for quantitative modelling and data analysis
• Integrate with electronic trading, execution and post-trade systems
• Support production environments and troubleshoot operational issues
• Improve data infrastructure and system performance

What we are looking for

• 1–5 years of hands-on KDB+/Q development experience
• Strong understanding of KDB+ architecture and Q
• Experience with equities market data / electronic trading
• Exposure to Refinitiv Elektron or similar market data feeds is a plus
• Experience in API development
• Exposure to TCA / post-trade analytics is advantageous
• Python, C# or R experience is a plus
