Join our client, a leading telecommunications service provider in Sri Lanka and the largest mobile network operator in the country! We are seeking a talented Associate DevOps Lead to help drive innovation and enhance cloud solutions.

The Job

• Develop serverless solutions using Lambda with expertise in Node.js, Go, and Python.
• Build and manage scalable, secure cloud applications for production environments.
• Design and automate cloud deployment and CI/CD processes for microservices.
• Work with high-transaction cloud environments, primarily AWS.
• Document and define cloud architecture and technical designs.
• Innovate and enhance cloud solutions.
• Implement infrastructure as code for consistent deployments.
• Ensure scalability, resilience, and security in cloud solutions.
• Perform system planning, problem-solving, and throughput analysis.
• Demonstrate advanced skills in Unix, shell scripting, and monitoring.
• Contribute to DevOps strategy and toolset development.
• Utilize AWS services and serverless technologies effectively.
• Manage cloud security and access controls.
• Leverage Kubernetes and related technologies.
• Select and document appropriate cloud architecture and technologies.
• Ensure software performance and security.
• Manage data and documentation.
• Provide consultancy, training, and technology adaptation.
• Optimize uptime and security.

The Person

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Cloud certification (preferably AWS) and Kubernetes expertise.
• 4-5 years of relevant experience in a DevOps role.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Proficient in programming languages and DevOps principles.
• Experienced with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, and system administration.
• Skilled in managing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
