Looking for a Product Designer with 5+ years of industrial design experience who has passion for design; not satisfied with the status quo and always thinking of ways to improve. They should be able to collaborate with cross-functional team members.

They are someone who is currently living in Mumbai and can start immediately or have a notice period of less than 30 days.

Job Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for new products
• Analyse how a new product ties in with market needs and consumer preferences
• Set design requirements based on briefs from internal teams and clients
• Research materials and techniques
• Sketch drafts on paper or digitally (for example, using CAD)
• Mock-ups and prototyping
• Use 3D modelling software to design products
• Produce prototypes and test functionality
• Improve the design of existing products
• Gather feedback from product users
• Presentation
• Strong knowledge of the industry and market trends
• Provide assistance to product engineers when needed
• Recommend new tools and technologies by staying abreast of the latest trends and techniques
• Handy and experienced with all materials in the market

Mandatory Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Product Designer
• Experience in industrial design
• Creativity in mixing up colours, shapes and techniques
• Hands-on experience with computer-aided design tools
• Good knowledge of 3D modelling software
• A well-rounded portfolio of client work, demonstrating a strong understanding of client objectives
• Skilled in making detailed technical working drawing of the product

Eligibility Criteria

• Diploma or Degree in Product Designing
• Willing to work in a start-up in office 6 days/week
• Must know: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, Key Shot, Fusion 360, 3DMax, Sketch Up and MS Office

Job Location

Kanjurmarg/Marine Drive, Mumbai WFO 6 days/week
