We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Storage Administrator (m/f/d) to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in storage administration, particularly with Hitachi storage solutions, and will be responsible for managing and optimizing our storage infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain Hitachi storage solutions, including Virtual Storage Platform (VSP) Family, Brocade, and CISCO SAN.

Configure and manage storage protocols such as FC, iSCSI, NFS, and CIFS/SMB.

Utilize Hitachi Command Suite, Storage Navigator, and replication technologies (Global-Active Device, Shadow Image, True Copy) for storage management.

Optimize storage solutions offered by Hitachi Data Systems (HDS) and ensure efficient operations.

Administer Hitachi E-Series (E590, E790) and VSP 5600 Series storage systems.

Perform storage administration and operations through Command Line (CCI Server).

Configure and manage HUR replication under 3DC setup for Hitachi Systems.

Provide support for Flash Copy, Clones, and GPFS.

Manage VMware SRM recovery and disaster recovery operations for Hitachi Storage Systems.

Implement and manage SAN, NAS, and virtualization technologies.

Develop and maintain data backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Automate storage tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, and Python.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex storage issues.

Job Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in storage administration, specifically with Hitachi storage solutions.

Strong knowledge of storage protocols (FC, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS/SMB).

Experience with Hitachi Command Suite, Storage Navigator, and replication technologies.

Expertise in managing and optimizing storage solutions offered by Hitachi Data Systems (HDS).

Hands-on experience with Hitachi E-Series (E590, E790) and VSP 5600 Series.

Experience with configuration and management of HUR replication under 3DC setup.

Proficiency in SAN, NAS, and virtualization technologies.

Knowledge in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation.

Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex storage issues
