Develop, enhance, and maintain features within Aptean’s EDI translation application
Assist in building and maintaining EDI maps and integrations
Debug and resolve issues related to EDI transactions, data transformations, and system integrations
Support the processing of EDI documents (e.g., X12, EDIFACT)
Participate in testing efforts, including creating and executing test cases
Contribute to technical documentation
Work closely with senior developers and cross-functional teams
Contribute to ongoing improvements in development practices, tools, and processes

0–3 years of experience in software development or integration-focused roles
Experience with or exposure to programming languages such as C#, .NET, Python, or similar
Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or similar)
Familiarity with LLMs or code generation models
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to learn new technologies and EDI concepts quickly
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A proactive mindset and willingness to collaborate in a team environment
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred

Familiarity with EDI concepts such as trading partner onboarding, EDI map development, and common transaction sets (e.g., 850, 856, 810, 997)
Experience with EDI translation or integration tools such as Gentran, Cleo, TrueCommerce, or similar platforms
Exposure to B2B SaaS, supply chain, or logistics-related domains
Experience working with APIs, file-based integrations, or data transformation tools
Exposure to Agile development methodologies and best practices
