Responsibilities

Design enterprise-scale data pipelines
Architect robust data lakes and warehouses
Build scalable streaming and batch pipelines
Optimize complex query and storage performance
Migrate legacy systems to cloud platforms
Implement automated CI/CD for data workflows

Requirements

10+ years in dedicated data engineering
5+ years leading complex cloud migrations
Experience with AWS: EMR, Glue, Redshift, Athena, S3
Experience with Azure: Synapse, Databricks, Data Factory
Experience with Google Cloud Platform: BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc
Experience with Apache Spark, Flink, Hadoop
Experience with Kafka, Kinesis, Pulsar, Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Airflow, Prefect, Dagster, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins

Preferred

Evaluate emerging data technologies for adoption
Define global data governance strategies
Enforce strict data security and compliance
Resolve critical system bottlenecks and outages
Mentor junior and senior data engineers
