Security & Workplace Engineer

As a Senior Security & Workplace Engineer, you will lead Microsoft 365 Security, Zero Trust, Compliance, and Modern Workplace transformation engagements from assessment through implementation and executive reporting; you will design secure, end-to-end architectures across identity, endpoint, collaboration, and governance, balancing user experience with robust security requirements; this role combines strategic advisory with hands-on delivery, giving you the opportunity to guide enterprise clients through their most critical Microsoft 365 transformation initiatives.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Microsoft 365 transformation engagements, from assessment and roadmap definition through implementation, migration, modernization, and security uplift for enterprise customers;
• Design and implement secure Microsoft 365 and Modern Workplace solutions (Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft 365 collaboration services), embedding security, compliance, and governance requirements at every stage, and contributing to broader Azure security initiatives where required;
• Advise customers on identity, endpoint, collaboration, security, and governance strategies;
• Lead discovery workshops, architecture reviews, roadmap definition, and executive presentations;
• Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft 365 collaboration workloads, including Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, and OneDrive, for enterprise environments;
• Contribute to reusable architecture assets, best practices, and delivery methodologies;
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across Microsoft 365 workloads;
• Provide operational support, continuous improvement, and performance tuning for Microsoft cloud environments;
• Provide architectural guidance and hands-on expertise during complex implementations and troubleshooting activities.

What we're looking for

Must-have

• Microsoft Entra ID:(identity and access management, Conditional Access, and privileged access concepts);
• Microsoft Intune: solid experience with modern endpoint management;
• Microsoft Defende (Endpoint, Identity, and Office 365 security capabilities);
• Microsoft Purview (Information Protection and Data Loss Prevention);
• Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 collaboration services (Teams, SharePoint Online, and Exchange Online);
• Hybrid Environments experience working across hybrid identity and cloud environments;
• Strong grasp of Zero Trust architecture and cloud security best practices;
• Proven experience delivering Microsoft 365 migration, transformation, or tenant modernization projects;
• Ability to design end-to-end Microsoft 365 architectures balancing user experience, security, and compliance requirements;
• Multilingual Fluency (French/English).

Nice-to-have

• Regulated Sectors Exposure (financial services, healthcare, legal, insurance, or public sector)
• Exposure to compliance frameworks including GDPR, NIS2, DORA, or ISO 27001;
• Familiarity with Copilot/AI security readiness and data governance prerequisites for Copilot deployment;
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel and security operations integration;
• Experience with Azure security services such as Defender for Cloud, Key Vault, Azure Policy, or Azure Firewall;
• Experience with large-scale tenant consolidation, mergers, acquisitions, or multi-tenant transformation projects;
• Relevant Microsoft certifications such as SC-300, SC-401, SC-200, MS-102, or SC-100 are a strong advantage.
