Responsibilities

Own and build key features for frontend and backend systems
Streamline debugging and monitoring for developers
Collaborate with open-source contributors and customers
Incorporate customer feedback into the roadmap
Supercharge HyperDX and ClickStack for petabyte-scale data processing
Develop groundbreaking analysis tools for production issue resolution
Scale cloud-hosted platform for growing customer base

Requirements

5+ years of software engineering experience
Preference for building developer tools
Strong TypeScript and Node.js skills
Experience with Next.js frontend
Experience with Express backend
Strong proficiency in React.js
Proficiency in SQL for query generation on ClickHouse
Experience with Docker
Experience with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
Passion for open source and the developer community
Experience creating developer tooling
Eye for designing for developers

Preferred

Expertise in distributed systems
Expertise in event ingestion pipelines
Experience working with columnar databases
Strong opinions on observability tools
Vision for making observability tools 10x better
Familiarity with additional languages like Python, Rust or PHP for building integrations
Experience with SDKs
