Senior Digital (Firmware) Engineer

Required Skills & Experience

• 5-8 years of hands-on experience in FPGA firmware development and embedded systems engineering.
• Strong experience with FPGA and SoC devices.
• Proficiency in VHDL for FPGA design, development, and implementation.
• Experience with embedded C programming and hardware-software integration.
• Knowledge of digital and analog circuit design, including PCB debugging and troubleshooting.
• Experience with FPGA verification, simulation, and automated test bench development.
• Familiarity with hardware and software development assurance standards and industry best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional engineering environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with technical documentation, including requirements, design specifications, and test documentation.

Preferred Technical Expertise

• FPGA development tools (e.g., AMD/Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus).
• Simulation and verification tools (e.g., ModelSim, Questa).
• PCB design and integration tools.
• Embedded software development environments.
• Version control systems such as Git.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (4-year degree or higher) in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant certifications or specialized training in FPGA development, embedded systems, firmware engineering, or related technologies are preferred.
