Sr. Data Analyst needs 5-7+ years hands-on experience working with SQL and a strong understanding of different data structures (flat files and DBMS)

7+ years experience working as a BI analyst or data analyst leveraging BI tools in a centralized data warehouse environment
3+ years experience with data modeling concepts and techniques
Experience working with Cognos v.8.x or higher or similar BI tool is a plus
Experience working with Teradata Data Warehouse or other DBMS is a plus
Heavy SQL

Bachelors degree or equivalent plus 7 years of related professional experience
Proven experience on projects involving data integration, data warehousing, data cleansing, data mapping, and data conversion activities
Well versed in data management concepts, data lifecycle and methodologies
Certification in Data Management (CDMP) or Business Intelligence (CBIP) is a plus

Sr.

Validates that data integration, data movement, and warehouse meets requirements and service-level agreements
Works with architects to translate requirements into technical specifications
Act as the conduit between the customer and technical teams to ensure requirements are understood
Act in an advisory capacity in data model reviews, architecture approach and solution design to ensure high quality deliverables
