Senior Full-Stack Next.js / TypeScript Developer

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer specializing in Next.js and TypeScript to join an immediate, short-term project focused on building and polishing a membership marketplace MVP.

The developer will work on an existing Next.js application and help implement key workflows, test the product, fix issues, and ensure the final experience is modern, polished, and high-end.

This is an immediate opportunity for a developer who can dedicate significant time over the next few days. The initial engagement is expected to be up to 80 hours, with the potential to continue on the full project if the initial phase is successful.

Responsibilities

• Continue development of an existing Next.js / TypeScript application
• Implement key workflows including:
• Login and authentication
• User approval
• Buyer workflows
• Seller workflows
• Use AI-assisted development tools to support and accelerate implementation
• Test and review existing functionality
• Identify and resolve bugs and technical issues
• Improve application performance and usability
• Ensure responsive and intuitive UI/UX
• Polish the product to achieve a high-end, professional look and feel
• Work independently and deliver quickly within a short timeline

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Next.js
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript
• Full-stack web development experience
• Experience working with existing codebases and MVPs
• Experience implementing authentication and user-based workflows
• Strong debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of modern web development practices
• Strong attention to detail, particularly around UI/UX and product quality
• Comfortable working with AI-assisted coding tools
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
• Immediate availability and ability to dedicate time within the next few days

Nice to Have

• Previous experience building marketplaces, membership platforms, SaaS products, or similar applications
• Experience taking an MVP from functional to polished/production-ready
• Familiarity with modern frontend and backend technologies
• Strong product mindset and visual attention to detail
