Design and develop backend software solutions, including APIs and business logic
Solve technical problems
Contribute to the design of scalable and maintainable systems
Provide technical guidance to junior developers
Help resolve technical issues and support project delivery
Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and business logic
Contribute to feature delivery and support shared platform capabilities
Collaborate with engineers, product partners, and stakeholders
Participate in roadmap execution
Partner with manager and stakeholders to identify and resolve blockers
Participate in code reviews
Work across the full development lifecycle
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of automated CI/CD pipelines
Meet expectations for productivity, quality, and goal achievement
Collaborate with manager to shape technical strategies
Adhere to privacy and security regulations, including HIPAA, HITECH

7+ years of professional software development experience
Experience designing and implementing APIs and backend services
Deep expertise in C# and .NET, including ASP.NET Web APIs and modern .NET (.NET Core)
Strong foundation in object oriented programming and design
Practical application of SOLID principles
Proven experience designing scalable application architectures
Hands on experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL)
Experience with data access technologies such as Entity Framework Core or comparable ORMs
Experience writing maintainable, testable backend code
Exposure to TDD and/or BDD practices
Experience deploying and operating backend services and databases in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies, frameworks, or patterns
Ability to independently analyze problems and implement effective technical solutions
Experience leveraging AI assisted development tools
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code concepts and tools such as Terraform
Experience with authentication and integration patterns, including SSO and system to system data exchange
Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar platforms
Bachelor's degree in computer science or information Technology or equivalent work experience
