Key Responsibilities

Architect and Design Testing Solutions

Lead the design and architecture of automated testing frameworks using UFT One, ensuring high scalability, performance, and maintainability.

Automation Strategy

Develop and implement robust test automation strategies, focusing on functional, regression, and performance testing.

Integration & Continuous Improvement

Ensure smooth integration of UFT One frameworks into the overall testing lifecycle and CI/CD pipelines, driving continuous improvement of testing processes. Technical

Leadership & Mentorship

Provide technical guidance to the testing and development teams, mentoring junior team members to improve their skills in test automation.

Collaboration

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and QA teams, to ensure alignment and successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Ensure Quality & Timely Deliverables

Manage testing timelines and ensure that automated tests are delivered on time and meet the required quality standards.

Troubleshooting & Optimization

Identify performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations to improve the efficiency of automated testing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with performance testing and integration with other tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter).
• Knowledge of cloud-based testing solutions and integration with cloud services.
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., ALM, Jira, Jenkins).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of hands-on experience in UFT One (Unified Functional Testing) or HP QTP, with a strong background in test automation.
• Extensive experience in software architecture, integration, and implementation of test automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of test automation best practices, CI/CD, and integration of testing tools with development workflows.
• Proficient in scripting languages (VBScript, JavaScript, etc.) used within UFT One for automating tests. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments is a plus.
